| Description |
The Application Development Analyst/Programmer will support the Manager ERP Development with the implementation of information system solutions in order to meet business objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To successfully complete the above mandate, the incumbent must be able to:
Assist users to clearly identify and document their system requirements.
Prepare functional and technical programming specifications.
Specify, develop and code new programs to enhance system functionality.
Maintain and modify existing code.
Develop and implement test procedures in order to ensure programming quality and system functionality.
Provide progress reports on deliverables to Manager ERP Development and be accountable for meeting specified deadlines.
Develop user and technical documentation manuals.
Provide programming and functional support to the user community.
Assist with the training of our users during project rollout.
Observe project priorities.
The incumbent is required to develop and maintain full technical and functional knowledge of the corporate ERP package. An acute interest in the field is necessary.
KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

Bilingual – English and French.

Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimum supervision.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Relies on experience to plan and accomplish objectives.
Technical Expertise
6+ years of business applications programming experience with a minimum of 3 years focused on analysis.
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology.
Knowledge of transactional systems specifically the Infoflo ERP environment (big adavantage).
Posses a strong analytical approach with particular strength on sorting through details.
Have a comprehensive understanding of programming techniques and structures.
Development experience wit Pick Basic, Unidata database and SB tools is a big advantage.
