Description	Our Client is an IT consulting firm. They are looking for a talented a Software Packager and systems engineer. This is a permanent position. The work is done in downtown Montreal at one of their larges clients and will begin ASAP. Beautiful technologies and nice challenge are waiting for you. The wage is generous. Principal Responsibilities: • Responsible for application packaging including the use of software virtualization technologies. • Responsible for creating appropriate documentation for packages, deployment, configuration, and related processes. • Responsible for adapting/writing scripts to automate new or existing ENG processes • Responsible for handling major escalations from level 2/3 escalation experts. • Responsible for software deployment using SCCM 2007R3, SCCM 2012 Required Skills: • Software packaging o Wise o App-V o ThinApp • Strong scripting skills in Powershell, WinBatch, Login scripts, and VBScript • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems: o Windows XP Professional, Windows 7 Enterprise • Familiarity/Knowledge of Microsoft Core Architectures, and Technologies: o Windows Active Directory - basic user and group administration o Group Policy o MDOP o WMI, ADSI • Windows Internals: o Windows XP/7 registry o Sysinternals Tools – i.e. filemon, procmon, regmon, perfmon, etc. o Experience analyzing event logs and interpreting errors. o Troubleshooting MSI related errors • SCCM deployment and application management (setting up collections, advertisements, etc.) • Technical Documentation/Writing • Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering/Computer Science Desired/Plus: • Knowledge/familiarity of: o Virtualized environments including Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop o Microsoft SQL Server • Experience working in a large, 7x24, investment banking environment • Strong Communication skills / ability to communicate in a multi-cultural environment • French language skills (written and/or oral) Skillset Required: • SCCM 2007R3, SCCM 2012 • Software packaging (-50% of the work) • Wise or AdminStudio • Desktop Support • App-V • ThinApp • Strong scripting skills in Powershell, WinBatch, Login scripts, and VBScript • Windows XP Professional, Windows 7 Enterprise • Windows Active Directory - utilisateur de base et de l'administration de groupe • DHCP • DNS • GPO • Bilingual (English is more important) Assets: • Symantec Antivirus and Firewall • Symantec DLP (Data Lost Prevention) • MDOP • WMI, ADSI • Windows XP/7 registry • Sysinternals Tools – i.e. filemon, procmon, regmon, perfmon, etc. • Experience analyzing event logs and interpreting errors. • Troubleshooting MSI related errors • Technical Documentation/Writing • Virtualized environments including Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop • Microsoft SQL Server • Experience working in a large, 7x24, investment banking environment • Strong Communication skills / ability to communicate in a multi-cultural environment • French language skills (written and/or oral) • Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering/Computer Science Number of positions 1 Work Experience At least 5 years Salary Based on experience
