Job description:
To continue supporting the development of their solution, Our Client is currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist that is versatile and is a strong team player. The candidate must also be passionate about his/her expertise and want to play a role in the success of many important projects. The candidate must demonstrate an ability to analyze, understand, and solve customer problems, as well as possess an aptitude for proposing to ensure that their products are being used to full capacity. He will also report issues to the on-site R&D team and follow-up to ensure resolution. The candidate must have strong knowledge of the Microsoft Windows environment and SQL language.

Reporting to the technical support team leader, the technical support specialist will undertake various responsibilities and must be able to work under minimum supervision. With a proven ability to work independently, the candidate will also be expected to make solution recommendations when problems occur. The candidate will also be expected to stay up-to-date on all the latest technical advancements in his/her field and/or area of expertise.


Main responsibilities:

• Understanding of procedures and organizational needs;
• Receive customer requests, analyze their problems and propose
• Develop documentations for support and knowledge base;
• Create, realize and support all applications;
• Maintain solution quality in collaboration with other team members;
• Promote respect of norms and standards.

Skills & competencies:

- Ability to understand SQL statements, reports and architecture;
- Ability to establish good relationships with customers;
- Creative, , motivated and critical thinking;
- Analytical skills, well organized and attentive to detail;
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
- Ability to communicate well with others;
- Ability to integrate and work comfortably in a team.

Job Requirements:

- Perfectly Bilingual English and French, another language (Spanish, Chinese etc.) would be an asset;
- Experience with Microsoft.Net ;
- Experience in customer support level 2 or 3;
- Knowledge of SQL;
- Familiar with Microsoft environments (Windows server, security, network, etc.);
- Knowledge of IIS would be an asset;
- Knowledge of ERP Systems would be an asset;
- Experience with Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, JavaScript would be an asset;
